The short version
Readers deserve to know how a site that discusses money pays its own bills. Here is ours, completely:
- The English pages you are reading carry no affiliate links, no referral codes, no sponsored placements and no advertising — nothing on them earns this site anything.
- The site’s Chinese-language edition has one disclosed sponsorship arrangement, confined to clearly marked places on its own pages.
- Neither arrangement has ever changed a tax figure, a source citation or an editorial judgement anywhere on this site — in either language.
Why the English pages carry nothing
This was a deliberate decision, not an oversight. Much of this section’s readership is in the United Kingdom, where the promotion of cryptoasset services to consumers is regulated under the financial promotions regime. Rather than navigate the boundary, we removed the question entirely: these pages promote no exchange, no wallet and no investment service, link to none of them, and take no payment from any of them. We do not provide investment advice, and nothing here is intended as a financial promotion or an inducement to acquire cryptoassets.
If you ever find an exchange link, a referral code or promotional copy on an English page of this site, it is an error — please report it to [email protected] and we will remove it.
What the Chinese edition does
The Chinese-language edition funds the site’s running costs through a single sponsorship: one clearly labelled tutorial page contains a disclosed sponsored link, and the Chinese home page passively displays a referral code. Both placements are marked as sponsored where they appear, and the arrangement is explained in the Chinese edition’s own disclosure text. Using them never costs a reader extra; the site may receive a commission paid by the platform.
Editorial independence
The sponsorship does not purchase influence. Concretely:
- Tax rates, allowances, deadlines and source citations are compiled from official publications and are identical in substance across both languages.
- We publish no exchange rankings, no reviews and no endorsements in either language.
- No sponsor sees, approves or edits any content before publication.
How you can tell
Anything commercial on this site is labelled as sponsored at the point where it appears — which, on the English pages, means you will find no such labels at all, because there is nothing to label. If the site’s funding model ever changes, this page changes first.
